The easiest way to communicate this is for you mark up screen shots from your SAP system.

- Label the screen shot with the SAP transaction code.
- Highlight all the fields that you type in when you use this transaction in the SAP GUI.
- Indicate which fields are required and which are optional.
- If there are additional fields that you don’t fill in but would like to see on the ADC screen for verification purposes (e.g., a material description) then indicate those as well.
- Keep in mind that ADC screens are really small! Consider the minimum amount of information you can get away with to perform the transaction correctly. Indicate any fields that can be defaulted to a constant value that would then not need to be shown on the screen.
Indicate which action you take (e.g., click the Details button) to move to the next screen/page/tab in more complex transactions.

The above is an example of the resulting ADC screen that we designed based on the information provided in the SAP screenshots. You can see that there is an awful lot of information and data entry fields that need to be squeezed into a small amount of screen real estate.
