Follow these steps to install the NLINK Mobile Application used to access ADC screens on connected device.without using Enterprise Mobility Management tools.

Mobile Device Prerequisites
- Running The device must be running Android 4.4 (Kitkat) or later.
- Is The device must be connected to a wireless network and can reach .
- The device must be able to reach the NLINK Server machine via port 9812.

From a browser on the device, type in enter the following URL

where [NLINKHOST] is the name, or IP Address, of the machine where NLINK is installed and running.

After NLINK Mobile is installed on device, first step is to register device and download configuration.
- Make sure device is connected to wireless network
- Start NLINK Mobile application by selecting application "NLINK Mobile"
- In the window that is displayed
- For Host enter [NLINKHOST] as above (name or IP Address of the machine where NLINK is installed and running)
- For Password enter the NLINK Mobile administrator password as configured in your meta-database. Default value is “password” (all lower case)
- Press the Register button to download configuration data.

- Click on the link to download the application. When the download has finished, click the resultant download to launch the application install. (Presentation may vary depending on the browser.)
- If the application download screen disappears, the downloads can be found in the Downloads application. Look for the NLINK Application.apk download.

- Install the application.
- When trying to install the application a warning may appear offering to block the installation. This is because the app was not downloaded from a known secure place, (e.g. Google Play).
To get around the issue, you will have to change the Security settings on the device.- Either click the Settings button in the warning message, or open application Settings and go to the Security option.
- In the Security settings, check the box called Unknown sources. When you select this option. you will get a warning. Click OK on the warning message.

- Once the install starts, another message appears describing the access required by the NLINK Mobile application: access to the disk/SD card, access to the wireless network, and also Bluetooth (which will be used only if the device needs to connect to an external scanner).
Click Install to proceed.
