NLINK ADC to SAP Solution works with on any device/ tablet in an HTML5 compatible browser. There is no need to deploy any application to device(s). However in cases where the browser based solution is not acceptable, NLINK Mobile application can be used as an alternative. 

NLINK Mobile application currently is only supported on Android devices. 

Prerequisites

  • NLINK ADC to SAP Solution version 6.0.0.157 (or later) installed and running
  • Android device(s) should be running Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) or later.
  • Firewall on NLINK Host is setup to allow incoming requests for ADC Port (default port is 9812)

NLINK Mobile application

NLINK Mobile application is not a public application. It can be deployed using various private channels. NLINK Mobile application setup has two parts:

  1. Install NLINK Mobile application
  2. Setup NLINK Mobile Application

Installing NLINK Mobile application

NLINK Mobile application is not a public application. It cannot be downloaded on Google Play. NLINK Mobile Application can be used distributed using private channel or using internal web site.

  1. Using Mobile Device Management Tools
    There are many different Mobile Device Management tools available in the market. Any tool that allows deploying and managing Android Application can be used distribute NLINK Mobile application. NLINK Mobiile Android Application Package (APK) can be found on NLINK ADC to SAP Solution host. The local of apk is "[NLINK_INSTALL_FOLDER]\wwwroot\NLINK Application.apk", where [NLINK_INSTALL_FOLDER] is typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Junot Systems (for 64 bit). Follow specific steps need by Mobile Device Management tool to deploy Android Application internally.

  2. Using private web site
    Without using Mobile Device Management tool or Google Play, NLINK Mobile application can be deployed using private web site. However devices will have to allow installation of applications from "Unknown Sources".
