Install NLINK Mobile Application on Android without Mobile Device Management Tools

Follow these steps to install the NLINK Mobile Application without using Mobile Device Management tools.

Prerequisites

NLINK ADC to SAP Solution with Android App is installed and running
NLINK Server is running
Firewall on NLINK Host is setup to allow incoming requests for ADC Port (default port is 9812)

Step-by-step guide

Running Android 4.4 (Kitkat) or later.
Is connected to wireless network and can reach NLINK Server machine via port 9812

From browser on device, type in following URL

http://[NLINKHOST]:9812/adc5.html
```
where [NLINKHOST] is name or IP Address of machine where NLINK is installed and running.
A page with NLINK Mobile download instructions will be rendered
Click on the link to download application, once the download finish click to launch application install
1. If the application download screen disappears the downloads can be found using "Downloads" application and find "NLINK Application.apk" download
Install the application
1. When trying to install the application a warning will appear about blocked install., it is because app was not downloaded from secure place (e.g. Google Play).
  
  To get around the issue, you will have to change Security settings on device.
  1. Either click "Settings" in previous screen or open application "Settings" and goto "Security" option.
  2. In "Security", check the box called "Unknown sources". Once you select the option you will get a warning, press "OK" on warning
2. Once the install starts, another message appears indicating access required by NLINK Mobile application. Press "Install" to proceed.
  NLINK Mobile application requires access to disk and wireless network and also bluetooth (used only if device needs to use external scanner)
