How to Check SAP Version / Installed Components / Support Packages

From SAPGUI, choose System >> Status... to open the System Status dialog. (Depending on your version of SAPGUI, this may be under the More menu.)

Click the button under the Component Version heading (or Product Version in newer instances) to see a list of all the installed components, their release versions, and support package levels. (Click any column header to sort.)

For ECC systems, look for the SAP_BASIS version.

For HANA systems, look for the S4CORE version.
