Follow these steps to download and install the NLINK Server and any associated tools you have licensed from Junot Systems.

NLINK should be installed in a production environment only on the Windows Server 2003, 2008 or 2012 operating systems. In a non-production environment, NLINK may operate perfectly well on other Microsoft operating systems (e.g Windows 7) but will not be supported by Junot Systems should you run into difficulties.

For hardware requirements, see NLINK Hardware Requirements.

NLINK installations come in a number of flavors depending upon the situation:

  • Full NLINK installation
  • NLINK OEM installation
  • NLINK ADC to SAP Solution
  • NLINK OPC to SAP Solution
  • NLINK MES to SAP Solution

If you are switching between any of these types of installations then you MUST uninstall the previous version first. Perform the un-installation through the Windows Add/Remove Program function.

If you are simply upgrading an existing installation to a newer version of NLINK you can install without performing an uninstallation first.

You can download NLINK from your Customer Extranet page on the Junot Systems web site. More details here

After accepting the download, fill in the Host Id and click the Get License button. The Junot Systems Support site will automatically e-mail you a temporary license for the associated machine. More details here

(Note: If you already have the installation .exe, you can skip the download and just request the license file.)

Run the installation and follow the steps in the Wizard. (The various options you need will depend on your particular use of NLINK.)

After the installation is complete, copy the license file to the installation directory.  The default folder for 32 bit operating system is C:\Program Files\Junot Systems and for 64 bit operating system it C:\Program Files (x86)\Junot Systems.
