Download & Install NLINK
Follow these steps to download and install the NLINK Server and any associated tools you have licensed from Junot Systems.
NLINK 8x should be installed in a production environment only on the Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2019 operating systems. In a non-production environment, NLINK may operate perfectly well on other Microsoft operating systems (e.g., Windows 10 or Windows 11) but will not be supported by Junot Systems should you run into difficulties.
For hardware requirements, see NLINK Hardware Requirements.
Step-by-step guide
Check for Previous Installations
NLINK installations come in a number of flavors depending upon the situation:
Full NLINK installation
NLINK OEM installation
NLINK ADC to SAP Solution
NLINK OPC to SAP Solution
NLINK MES to SAP Solution
If you are switching between any of these types of installations then you MUST uninstall the previous version first. Perform the un-installation through the Windows Add/Remove Program function.
If you are simply upgrading an existing installation to a newer version of NLINK you can install without performing an uninstallation first.
